ART

In my art I used line, colour and texture to create this beach landscape. The materials I used were chalk pastels and pastels, also I used long hard lines for each colour then blended to create the sunset. I then coloured in with chalk pastel to create the pretty crystal water and blended down the orange from the sun to shimmer down the water. I coloured in the cruise ship all black then blended it down to make a shadow. For the leaves of the palm trees I just kept using my pencil to make short sharp lines.

Brody, the pain of the chunky ingredients sliding down my throat.
I never want to experience that pain again. Brown, chunky, sludge sitting in my tummy, the acids cant even destroy  it I NEED WATER!! With doubt in my mind that my taste buds would ever want to come back again, I instantly regtretted my decision to drink that potent drink.

Brody, you have become a scientist creating these potions for people to drink, Do I eat it or drink it which one? It looks like the mud guyzers I have  lost my appetiate.

Term 3- art Immersion

With Miss Drayson we looked into colour and we needed to create a piece of abstract art here is my abstract art in the top left corner. Then with Mr Jackson we looked at shapes and how shapes can be used here is my art in the bottom right corner. After with Mrs Devane we looked at texture and how to make it look 3D my art is in the bottom middle row. With Mr Marks we looked at space and perspective here is mine in the bottom left. Lastly we did line with Miss Simmons here is mine in the top middle and right corner. I was excited to experiment all the art techniques  also I was frustrated to try to finish in the time frame.

Writing about Miss Drayson

My amazing teacher is of six foot height, with golden brown hair and blonde streaks. Tinted bronze checks and emerald green eyes beady and glistening in the light. Her arms long and freckly as if she has got chicken pox everywhere. Teeth white and sparkly, clenching together as she widens her lips into that cheeky smile. Her clothes are always bright and colourful,  you will always see her wearing her converse chucks or her beige jandals. She has a jerking laugh and a soft voice as she speaks to the class. She is always laughing at the students jokes as our conversation goes off topic. Miss Drayson loves to teach us kids here at David Street School as well as snowboarding out at Whakapapa. She has a bubbly personality which you will notice as soon as you see her.

Awesome connectives, and completed complex sentences (YAY) Your word choice is always fun and as a reader I can paint a picture because you are zooming in on features and speaking specifically.

Well done,
